Maior Gin

Maior' comes from Latin meaning 'major', the name given by the Romans to the largest island of the Balearic Islands, Mallorca.

It is a local gin, following our Mallorcan Mediterranean tradition in which "less is more", seeking perfection with local and quality ingredients.

In addition to juniper it has 3 botanicals: rosemary, Sóller orange peel and fig leaf. In this way we follow the simplicity of local recipes of our Mallorcan tradition.

The process: 4 different distillations are carried out so that the unique components of each of the botanicals are not lost. In the case of fig leaf, we do it at a lower temperature, as it is very delicate and in this way we manage to extract its qualities.

Fig leaf: We recover a Mallorcan tradition by using this botanical once again. In the past, fig leaf tea was drunk during the grape harvest, used to heal and recuperate after a long day in the fields.
